Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Cloud Engineer to support DISA’s Cloud Brokerage Program, which is designed to allow various DoD agencies to utilize DISAs Cloud solution to host their applications.

The Cloud Engineer will be tasked with working with the various agencies and programs to act as a solutions consultant to determine which is the best cloud solution (i.e. which of the 4 commercial cloud providers offers the best product for them), help them set up their environment for migration and work in a sandbox to help architect the solution that they will use. They need to have some experience in Cloud Security with RMF and ATO packages.

Responsibilities:

- Support DISA’s Cloud Brokerage Program, facilitating DoD agencies in utilizing DISA's Cloud solution for hosting applications.

- Collaborate with various agencies and programs, serving as a solutions consultant to determine the optimal cloud solution among the four commercial providers.

- Assist in setting up environments for migration, working in sandboxes, and architecting solutions tailored to each agency's needs.

- Apply Cloud Security expertise, particularly in RMF and ATO packages.

Qualifications:

- Cloud Migration and Cloud Engineering experience, regardless of the cloud platform (Azure, AWS, GCP, Oracle).

- Possess or ability to obtain an IAT/IAM L3 Cyber Certification (CASP, CCNP, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GSLC, CCISO, CCSP, CISM) within 60 days.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cloud and over 10 years in IT (flexible requirements).

-Top Secret Security Clearance Required

Compensation:

-Salary: $130,000- $160,000/ year *** depending on experience***

-Project Term: 3 years

-Hybrid on-site (need to go into the office SCIF for high-side work, could be 0 days one week, 5 days another week- all depending on what needs to be done) in any of the following locations:
