Pinnacol Assurance is Hiring a Corporate Services Representative Near Denver, CO

What you’ll do:

Process all inbound and outbound mail, and complete data entry within the daily work rotation.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Print and sort correspondence to be mailed out and run through folder/inserter to envelope and postage it accurately and timely
  • Print and cut envelope stuffers from a saved database on the printer
  • Conduct end of day clean up and backstock check and send out email checklist
  • Slice open incoming mail and open and sort mail into predefined categories to be scanned
  • Scan in mail by category, performing basic quality control to ensure good scans and routing to applicable recipients
  • Handle incoming payment checks according to set procedures, including making copies of the checks, scanning images of them, and mailing checks to other recipients for handling
  • Answer doorbell and sign for packages, then check in, sort, and deliver packages
  • Open and sort bills received by type (e.g. HCFA vs. UB vs. Other) and compile into batches then scan and perform quality control on scanned images
  • Process batches of bills electronically, including classifying documents and performing basic quality control for document order
  • Check emails received by the department and print attachments in order to envelope and postage them
  • Process electronic letter jobs, entering information from the letter such as address in order to produce an accurate pdf output that is then printed and mailed
  • Assemble and mail orders for company collateral
  • Access medical records fax queue and accurately index each medical record by splitting complete faxes and tagging with claim number, date of service, and a document type from a prepopulated list
  • Generate packets of correspondence and medical records and combine to create copy jobs, then sort and order records and mail or email packet

Additional Duties:

  • Perform backup for other functions as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Completion of a degree is strongly encouraged and supported.
  • Scanning experience in a large volume scanning operation is preferred.
  • Working various/multiple function in scanning operations is a plus.
  • Data entry skills, including 10-key typing, are preferred, but not required.

Work Environment/Physical Activities:

  • Regular attendance required.
  • Extensive scanning, telephone, and computer work in an office environment.
  • May lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.

The compensation amount for this role is targeted at $20.69 - $21.86. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including your experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
