Pinnacle Technical Resources is Hiring an Accountant - IV Near Basking Ridge, NJ
- Work with, understand and prepare Regulatory filings which include those filed with the Federal and State Regulatory Agencies and third-party fund administrators for all Verizon owned companies.
- Ensure filings are submitted accurately and timely in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, judicial decisions, and rulings.
- Prepare payments and manage the liabilities and expenses related to the tax returns; work with AP, Treasury, and various in-house payment systems
- Ensuring adherence to all SOX controls Assist with all Regulatory related audits, as needed
- Conduct research as needed, including the tax impact to all Regulatory filings with the addition of any new products and services
- The ability to prioritize deliverables with competing timelines is required
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Google Office tools, and Alteryx
- Strong written and verbal communications skills/Attention to detail
- Experience with managing and manipulating large sets of data
- Familiarity with FASB requirements and
- Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Experience with financial systems, ERP, procedures and verification, and understanding of financial statements and concepts
- Self-starter and possess the ability to be self-directed
- Hybrid Schedule: Tuesdays and Wednesdays in Basking Ridge, NJ.
- Targeted Years of Experience: 7-10 years
The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
