Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented maintenance dispatcher to join our team. The maintenance dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching maintenance personnel and vendors to perform repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive maintenance requests from residents and commercial tenants using our maintenance software platform.
• Prioritize and schedule maintenance requests based on urgency and available resources.
• Coordinate resources and identify the appropriate maintenance personnel or contractors for each task.
• Dispatch maintenance personnel and communicate work orders, task details, and any special instructions through various channels such as phone calls, emails, or computerized dispatch systems.
• Track and monitor progress of ongoing maintenance tasks, and update requesters or stakeholders as necessary.
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve unexpected issues, such as equipment failures, delays, or changes in priority, and adjust schedules or reallocate resources accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance requests, work orders, and relevant details such as job completion times, costs, and any additional notes or observations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 2 years of experience in maintenance dispatching or a related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Familiarity with maintenance software platforms and computerized dispatch systems.
• Knowledge of maintenance procedures and terminology.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $77,500.00 per year
