$100 sign-on bonus after the first 6 months of employment and a satisfactory 3 month evaluation is completed!
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Prepare baked goods for all food service locations on campus and assist with the meal preparation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare food and baked goods for dining department and special functions.
Maintain accurate records of items distributed to all kitchens. Prepare modifications as necessary based on diet spreadsheets.
Assist in inventory, ordering, reviewing and checking deliveries for accuracy, putting away deliveries, organizing and rotating stock.
Maintain high standards of sanitation and adapting HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) principles to the operation.
Communicate with managers and team members regarding daily operation.
Maintain, organize, and clean all equipment, work areas, storage areas to assure proper function and sanitation.
Assist in serving and clean up of meals following proper procedures of service and clean up.
Responsible for laundry assignments following proper procedures.
Maintain and develop recipes, updating the proper procedures (noting equipment and special diet instructions). Be able to adjust according to the number of scheduled meals each day.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year employed in a full-time baking position, preparing a variety of baked items from scratch recipes, including gluten free and sugar free baked items. (Breads, rolls, pastries, cookies, cakes, pies)
Previous experience baking in a healthcare kitchen is preferred, but not required.
High school graduate or equivalent.
