Job Summary:
We are a women's clothing and gift boutique, seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our small team. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring exceptional customer service. We are a small brick and mortar store that has a 20 year history, we're looking for someone who will be a right match for us, someone who's strong leadership skills, great interpersonal relationship with customers and retail experience will contribute to the success of our store.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in managing store operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service
- Supervise and train store employees, providing guidance and support as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Handle cash register operations and the POS
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new employees
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, making recommendations for improvement
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any customer complaints or issues that may arise
Requirements:
- Previous experience in sales management or retail leadership role
- Excellent team management and supervisory skills
- Proficient in phone etiquette and communication with customers and employees
- Ability to conduct interviews and make hiring decisions based on company standards
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Understanding of pricing strategies and ability to implement pricing changes as needed
