Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Deli Manager to oversee our deli operations. The Deli Manager will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the deli, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high food quality standards. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of deli operations, including food preparation, inventory control, and customer service
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Supervise and train deli staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Manage scheduling to ensure adequate staffing levels
- Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring consistent standards are maintained
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Collaborate with the catering department to fulfill customer orders and meet catering needs
- Utilize POS system to process customer transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional manner

Experience:
- Previous experience in restaurant management or food service management is required
- Strong knowledge of food production techniques and kitchen management
- Proven experience in team management, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Proficient in inventory control and ordering processes
- Familiarity with interviewing and onboarding new team members
