Looking for an experienced deli sandwich maker able interact with customers direct. Duties include taking orders and making the sandwiches, omelets, and burgers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for setting up and maintaining deli front counter
• Preparing sandwiches according to customer requests
• Slicing meats and cheeses according to customer requests
• Ensure compliance with health regulations regarding food preparation and serving.
• Monitor food preparation methods and presentation of food in order to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an acceptable manner.
• Assist with receiving food and beverage deliveries, and checking delivery contents in order to verify product quality and quantity.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of workspace to be in compliance with all sanitation and department of health standards.
• Other duties that may be assigned by the manager

Requirements:

• Must have experience in deli/food service
• Customer service experience
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Must have minimum 1 year experience.

Pay commensurate with experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
