CNC Operator
A growing High-tech business looking for a qualified, motivated individual to join our team as a CNC Operator
Requirements:
- Ability to use measuring tools to ensure quality
- Ability to interpret blueprints
- Mechanical aptitude
- Must be proficient in shop mathematics in order to calculate tool offsets, home positions and verify print dimensions. Has a basic understanding of geometry and trigonometry.
- A minimum of 5years overall experience in a manufacturing environment
- Organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Adhere to all safety & good housekeeping practices
- Ability to come to work as scheduled & work extra hours as needed in order to meet customer requirements
- Ability to follow instructions and follow through consistently
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Ability to work as a team to achieve company objectives
Responsibilities & Authorities:
- Programming, and set-up of CNC router
- Monitor the CNC , assuring all SOP's are followed to perform duties correctly & safely
Essential Job Functions:
- Load & unload parts into fixture mounted on CNC equipment
- Start, run & monitor automated machine
- Read blueprints
- Utilize measuring tools to check dimensions
- In-process inspection of work being performed
- Basic paperwork for time and job reporting
