About the Role

The Executive Medical Director for Prostate Cancer will have a pivotal role in the strategic development of therapies for multiple medicines within this therapeutic area. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing the development strategy, working across the organization on multifunctional teams, and overseeing the clinical trials for these medicines. This includes leading the product-specific Global Development Team, managing clinical protocols and study reports, and providing oversight for the evaluation of safety, pharmacology, and efficacy data. The role also involves being a medical resource for the design and interpretation of clinical and preclinical programs, as well as representing the program within the external clinical community.Applicants for this position must have an MD, PharmD with BCOP certification, PA with substantial clinical oncology experience, or DO, and a minimum of 7 years' in the industry with at least 5 years' leading diverse teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership presence, a passion for oncology, and a collaborative style that extends to internal and external partners. Global perspective, a team player mentality, and the ability to work effectively with colleagues from diverse backgrounds are also highly valued. The role requires a professional with a proven track record in leading and supporting development programs and who can effectively manage a team of medical directors and clinical scientists in the pursuit of innovative prostate cancer therapies.
