Description:
Designs and creates graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as packaging, displays, print projects, websites and logos. Creates layout specifications and animation for electronic products. May use a variety of media to achieve artistic or decorative effects. Must have knowledge of the latest computer packages and an understanding of material costs and time limits, all of which can impact on the design. Responsible for archiving and retrieving artwork and electronic files. Manages projects to budget and schedule. Works well in a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, other designers, account executives, website designers and marketing specialists.
Job Profile Summary
Supports Executive Management and their teams to develop presentations that articulate messaging in impactful, engaging, innovative and creative mediums to varying audiences. Ensures all information is accurate and aligned to internal branding processes/procedures. Collaborates with other internal stakeholders, as needed, to deliver product in a timely manner and within applicable compliance guidelines.
Tasks:
· Understands, interprets and synthesizes Executive leader and/or team data and information, to create powerful integrated visual/technical solutions to convey key messages.
· Provides guidance to subject matter experts, including managers and senior leaders, to develop executive level presentations for internal and external speaking engagements and business meetings.
· Provides comprehensive design support for communications and presentations set to deliver to Executive Council and/or the Board of Directors.
· Creates accurate and effective design components that tell a compelling story and influences key messages and visual impact.
· Creates and applies a consistent design standard for presentations and briefings that align to corporate standards.
· Participates in cross-functional presentation design projects, as needed.
· Prioritizes initiatives to deliver projects on time. Provides attention to detail and quality assurance of all deliverables.
· Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
Minimum Education:
· Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Arts, Design, Communications, or a related field required; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Minimum Experience:
· 4 years of experience developing and designing presentation work.
· Demonstrated presentation skills in media technology such as PowerPoint, Photoshop, Prezi, After Effects, Flash, Adobe and Keynote.
· Demonstrated ability to integrate editorial content with graphic and interactive-media.
· Experience producing presentation designs with user experience and/or interactive design principles.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting to and influencing Senior Leadership.
