Designs and provides design for Alumni Relations and Development's (AR&D) digital and print materials, including direct mail, email, social media, newsletters, invitations, endowment report materials, brochures and other collateral materials. Ensures and maintains Trinity University brand identity standards through consistency in design. Works with other Development staff to provide design services as needed.Designs digital and print materials for solicitation, cultivation and stewardship of donors, including slide decks, impact and stewardship reports, presentations, and proposals.
Designs digital and print event invitations, landing pages, and other collateral for AR&D events, including receptions, private meals, and all other special events.
Designs digital and print marketing materials as well as templates for AR&D newsletters.
Designs digital and print endowment reporting materials, including letterhead, envelopes, and other collateral for this project.
Creates and maintains a repository of templated items such as email communications and appeals, Trinity Alumni Club communications, donor reports, letterhead, envelopes, and other forms of general collateral (print and digital).
ADDITIONAL DUTIES
Follows and enforces University graphic identity guidelines on the proper uses of logos, fonts, colors, and other branded materials
Cooperates and collaborates with other employees in the spirit of teamwork and collegiality and interacts with confidence, patience and integrity to provide professional leadership during emergencies.
Complies with all Trinity University policies and guidelines.
Performs other duties as required.
EDUCATION
Required:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
EXPERIENCE
Required:
Two years of graphic design experience in digital and print media.
Preferred:
Experience using digital and print graphic design for fundraising appeals and donor engagement for a nonprofit or higher education institution.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Required:
Experience in graphic design with Adobe Creative Cloud.
Experience with designing graphics for digital communications.
Experience with building email templates and social media posts using html coding and other frameworks.
Ability to participate in a collaborative environment, to handle multiple tasks, to meet deadlines and to work independently.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Knowledge of printing processes, including designing with specifications for print.
Ability to create interactive design elements.
Experience with video editing and animation software.
Ability to find design solutions through innovation and creativity.
Preferred:
Experience collaborating with data analytic teams on how to leverage data results to inform design strategies.
