Role Description

This is a part-time on-site position for a Veterinary Technician or Assistant at PetVet365 located in Northern KY. The Veterinary Technician or Assistant will be responsible for animal care, assisting with veterinary technology procedures, client education, anesthesiology, and pet care.

Responsibilities:

- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
- Perform routine procedures such as vaccinations, blood draws, and dental cleanings
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Monitor animals during surgeries and recovery
- Prepare and maintain medical records for each patient
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment
- Clean and maintain examination rooms and equipment

Experience:

- Previous experience working as a veterinary technician or in a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of animal behavior, anatomy, and common diseases
- Familiarity with veterinary equipment and procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
