The Early Childhood Education Director must have a valid Teacher Certification from NYS in either Early childhood or Elementary school. NOTE: You do not need to speak another language to apply for this position BUT Knowledge of FRENCH is preferred. Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director to join our team. As the Director, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of our organization. This is a senior leadership position that requires strategic planning, strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.

Duties:
- Manage and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals
- Oversee the creation and implementation of curriculum and educational programs
- Conduct regular evaluations to ensure quality standards are met
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain positive relationships
- Lead public speaking engagements and represent the organization at events
- Monitor budgeting and financial activities to ensure fiscal responsibility
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in education

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of curriculum development and instructional strategies
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and provide mentorship
- Experience working with students of all ages
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management

• Assist in the hiring process: look for talented teachers at every level (infant, toddler, preschool)

• Make sure the center in general meets DOH requirements
• Do formal and informal teacher observations
• Be able to travel between centers and replace teacher director when he/she is absent
• Conduct school tours
• Reach out to/research private and public schools to create relationships with them
• Curriculum development and planning
• Professional development for teachers
• Lead Teacher substitution/ short-term leave replacement
• Evaluate and give feedback to teachers

Schedule: Monday to Friday 41-44 hours/week starting at 8am
