Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating, coordinating, and implementing various aspects of IT infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation of server systems, hardware, networking, and security devices. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, addressing, and mitigating vulnerabilities, endpoint security, device configuration, backup operations, and access control. Additionally, the candidate will actively participate in incident response efforts, internal reviews, and contribute to maintaining up-to-date asset management records.

Essential Functions and Duties:

• Evaluate, coordinate, and implement server operating system and software patching.
• Implement hardware patching for networking and security devices and other networked devices.
• Prioritize and implement vulnerability remediation activities in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Monitor and address issues related to device endpoint security and configuration deployment.
• Ensure the effectiveness of backup and recovery activities through testing.
• Monitor and address issues related to device and service availability and performance.
• Address physical and logical access, environmental conditions, and electrical stability for critical infrastructure components.
• Manage identity management solutions to address associated risks.
• Support internal review activities and execute projects with timeliness and high quality.
• Implement device, system, and service alert notifications; develop response protocols.
• Maintain up-to-date asset management records for all infrastructure items.
• Provide technical support to IT personnel and end users as needed.
• Participate in incident response efforts and perform other duties as assigned.
• Participate in VMware maintenance and implementations.

Education, Certifications, and Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree in an IT-related field or equivalent business experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure operations.

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Hands-on expertise in monitoring enterprise-class technologies, including servers, Active Directory, endpoint security tools, vulnerability management, backup solutions, MS 365, and Azure.
• Working experience with endpoint security, vulnerability management, Active Directory group policy, and SIEM solutions.
• Capacity to excel in a multinational organization and work in remote locations with limited supervision.
• Ability to correlate information from multiple sources, identify trends, conduct root cause analysis, and suggest areas of improvement.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Project management skills with the ability to execute projects on time and with high quality.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain critical relationships across multiple departments and geographies.
• Willingness to travel if required.

• Physical demands include, but are not limited to: frequent use of hands, sitting for long periods of time, walking, turning, reaching, stooping/bending, squatting, lifting/carrying objects 5 to 40 lbs.
