STAFFING COORDINATOR/SCHEDULER (Must have VA LPN license) Personal Touch Home Care, a National Provider of Medicare home care services since 1974, is seeking a qualified Full-Time Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler for our Newport News location.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a current Licensed Practical Nurse license to practice in Virginia. Home health scheduling experience preferred
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel
• Must be organized with the ability to multi-task
• Must be detail oriented
• Must be able to read, write and maintain records in English

JOB SUMMARY The Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and scheduling patient care staff within appropriate time frames and providing assistance to administrative staff.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Schedules all necessary personnel and resolves all last minute cancellations
• Participates in compiling schedules and time summaries and submits to Clinical Director/Supervisor weekly.
• Communicates with patients/families regarding desired services
• Participates in on-call rotation
