My client, a leading provider of residential in home support services and supported community connections services to the adult population with developmental disabilities and autism is urgently seeking an experience Residential Manager to join their team in Cherry Creek, Denver.

The agency provides both in home support to clients who live independently in a PCA setting, as well as in home support to clients who live in group homes, or in a full time, at home care setting with parents or caregivers, and support in the local community to individuals who wish to improve their social skills. Assisting with a range of services from medical appointments, advocation, in home safety checks, social community activities, redirecting behaviors and administering and managing medication.

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Residential manager has arisen, our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory/management role within the healthcare industry, specifically working with the adults with disabilities, should have excellent communication skills, be organised and able to manage a small team, prepare for an execute audits, and have a good understanding of the Medicare system.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a senior healthcare role managing a team of at least 3 other healthcare workers.
• Previous experience working with adults with autism and disabilities.
• Strong communication skills, proactive attitude with good problem solving skills
• Able to demonstrate effective leadership and manage the schedules of other care workers on the team.
• Good Understanding of the Medicare system and requirements.
• Previous experience using THERAP would be highly desirable.

The Role:

• Working closely with the RIHS and SCC team, you will manage the allocation of clients, review of incoming referrals, onboarding of new clients and resolution of client living situations.
• Overseeing the caseload in whole, you will ensure the right clients are allocated to the correct support workers and host homes that meet their needs.
• Assist with PNF forms for clients who require financial management support.
• Take ownership of company assets including vehicles used for SCC, monitor and manage the maintenance, insurance etc for those vehicles, keeping safety in mind at all times, reviewing and approving work to be completed as needed.
• Provide training and leadership to existing and new hires as needed.
• Prepare for, and execute audits with the state or other agencies
• Ensure THERAP is kept up to date, work with host homes and care providers to ensure t-logs, critical incident reports and GER's are filled out.
• Chair, Lead and attend difficult meetings which can potentially have disturbing content, safeguarding planning with case workers and CPS.
