Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President of Human Resources for our private equity firm. As the VP of HR, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the human resources functions within our organization. This is a leadership role that requires exceptional skills in training development, change management, conflict resolution, and employee relations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent
- Design and implement comprehensive training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures
- Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations, including FMLA and workers' compensation
- Lead organizational change initiatives and provide guidance to managers on change management best practices
- Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures that promote a positive work environment
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards
- Utilize HRIS systems such as Taleo, ADP, or Paychex to manage employee data, payroll, and reporting
Skills:
- Extensive experience in human resources management at a senior level
- Strong knowledge of training development principles and practices
- In-depth understanding of employment laws and regulations
- Proven ability to handle complex employee relations issues with sensitivity and confidentiality
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in using HRIS systems such as Taleo, ADP, or Paychex
- Demonstrated expertise in change management strategies
- Strong conflict resolution skills
