Position Purpose:
Lead team of Category Managers and Buyers including talent selection and performance management. Achieve local Operating Company KPI's established by executive leadership ensuring growth and profitability. Responsible for managing all aspects of product procurement, including program negotiation with manufacturers. Oversee vendor bill-back and inbound freight programs. Performs any duties as assigned to best serve the company.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

• Demonstrate servant leadership that promotes growth and empowerment of the Procurement team.
• Lead Procurement strategy to identify cost-saving opportunities through negotiations, supplier consolidation and process efficiencies.
• Manage inventory levels to consistently meet demand without accruing unnecessary holding costs that diminish gross profits.
• Focus on consistently exceeding customer service levels by maintaining an acceptable fill rate.
• Establish procedures that increase efficiencies to allow the Procurement team to function at the highest level of productivity.
Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the foodservice industry.Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
6-10 years Procurement or related area with supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree
10 years Procurement with supervisory/management experience in foodservice industry.
Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP)
