Peraton’s Space & Intelligence Sector, National Programs (NP) Business Unit has an immediate need for an experienced Operating Unit (OU) Sr. Director to lead a portfolio of programs. This position will report to the VP & GM of National Programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the delivery and overall success of a portfolio of programs generating $200M in annual revenue.
  • Proven and successful record of: oversight of program/contract execution; mentoring/coaching program managers; growth and professional development of team members; creating and implementing business growth strategies; meeting financial commitments; customer engagement & relationship management; workforce retention; and partner management.
  • Responsible for meeting financial commitments across multiple programs while driving on-contract growth and successfully defending our positions during recompetes.
  • Established and demonstrated relationships with DIA and/or IC leaders and decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and mature key relationships within the customers’ organizations and responsible for ensuring our commitment to high customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and participate in Program Management reviews.
  • Coordinate and integrate with other leaders across the NP BU and the enterprise to maintain consistent messaging with customers and employees as well as drive overall enterprise success.
  • Establish and practice a Workforce-First culture, by demonstrating ownership of the NP culture, and the practices required to adopt, grow, and maintain the culture across the OU workforce.
  • Lead efforts in identifying, attracting, and retaining top technical and functional staff for the OU.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 18 years of related professional experience, to include a minimum of 15 years of experience within the Intelligence Community.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in Program Management to include financial and technical oversight and reporting, demonstrated ability to meet both customer and business commitments, creative approaches to avoiding/addressing/resolving challenges, and leading teams of leaders.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of programs across both cost plus and FPLOE/T&M contract types.
  • A demonstrated successful track record of managing high performing contracts supporting DIA and/or Intelligence Community.
  • Detail-oriented, with excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • TS/SCI with Poly
  • Business acumen that includes a demonstrated knowledge of contracts, human resources, talent acquisition, finance, security, and subcontracts as required for successful program execution.
  • Proven track record as an impactful team leader.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering or related technical field, or Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
  • 2 years successfully managing a portfolio of programs generating $100M in annual revenue.
  • Demonstrated and successful support of business development activities including capture and new business growth.

$176,000 - $282,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
