Responsibilities What you'll do: The Cloud Engineer is also responsible for the following but not limited to: * Support on-premises and cloud platforms solutions
* Analyze, plan, design, and implement security solutions for cloud-native solutions
* Participate in technical planning meetings to confirm implementation schedule of new solutions.
* Working with the stakeholder community to determine cloud security requirements. * Develop and documenting requirements for design reviews.
* Develop implementation approaches and plans to ensure optimum cloud performance and reliability across the servers, networks, and related utilities and hardware that comprise the cloud infrastructure. * Conduct analysis and make reliable engineering recommendations to ensure reliability/resiliency of the cloud infrastructure. * Monitor and reporting on cloud utilization and plan continuous process improvement.*Contingent on Contract Award* Qualifications Basic Qualification: * U.S. Citizen; eligible for U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
* Bachelor's degree with 5 to 7 years, or master's degree with 3 to 5 years, or PhD with 1 to 2 years of experience is required; four (4) years of experience can be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
* A minimum of 5 years of related cloud design, configuration, and implementation experience * Four (4) years of experience as a Cloud Engineer may be considered in lieu of a degree.
* Expert knowledge of ADDS, ADFS, Azure AD and Windows Server Operating Systems 2016 & up.
* Excellent writing and communication skills, including proven experience effectively communicating technical challenges and solutions to peers, customers, and senior management.
* Must be a self-starter and take responsibility for completing assignments on time.
Preferred Qualification: * Active Secret Security Clearance.
* Experience with Remedy or ServiceNow trouble ticketing system.
* One or more Cloud Certifications
* AWS Certified
* Azure Certified
* Cisco Certified Networking Administrator - Cloud
