Pequod's Pizza is Hiring a Server Assistant/Food Runner/Busser (PT) Near Chicago, IL
At Pequod's Pizza Chicago we are looking to expand our team by hiring qualified candidates as bussers. We are looking to fill a part-time position with evening and weekend availability required.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- Clean and reset tables and transport dirty dishes to the bus tub, tray, or dish room.
- Re-stock as needed to maintain efficiency in the front of the house.
- Available to work a variety of hours including weekends and late nights.
- Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment.
- Ability to effectively communicate to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken directions.
- Multitask calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment.
- Move and lift to 10 - 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all restaurant areas.
Job Requirements:
- Able to read the kitchen ticket and bring the complementary food to the table.
- Memorize specific foods you are taking to the table and which tables you are going to.
- Use tact and good judgment when dealing with guest challenges and respond to guest needs with patience and courtesy.
- Assist the serving team with all food and beverage services.
- Follow all steps of service.
- Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures.
- Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Get along well with others and be a team player.
- Other duties will be assigned as needed.
