Purpose of Job:

Job Duties:

• Directs the planning, strategic goals, and objectives of the Production department.
• Performs full range of managerial duties for employees supervised including coaching/counseling, hiring, terminating, and employee development.
• Manages the production of quality product; constantly improves processes.
• Reviews daily inventories of full and raw goods and calculates month-end inventories and closes; tracks body, sewerage, and water usages.
• Reviews and approves annual budget.
• Communicates with department heads regarding weekly production schedule and resolves production issues.
• Performs required administrative tasks, including SPMA.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field and five (5) years experience required, preferable in a high speed manufacturing environment.
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of OSHA production standards required.
• Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.
• Must be able to direct and motivate others.
• Must have good troubleshooting skills.
• Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment.
• The ability to multi-task and set priorities is required.
• Must pay close attention to details.
• Must have numerical aptitude.
• Previous capital planning and project management experience required.
• Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
• Constantly (67%-100%) required to walk, stand and perform data entry.
• Frequently (34%-66%) required to sit.
• Occasionally (0%-33%) required to climb and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English proficiently
