The Customer Service Technician assists scheduling deliveries, related recordkeeping, and contacting patients/clients for delivery scheduling purposes. Must be comfortable making 70 calls per day.

This is an in office role, candidates must be able to come into the Boothwyn, PA office.

• Contact patients and/or nurses to schedule upcoming deliveries.
• Notify appropriate Pentec personnel of changes and patient/client needs, status change, or requests.
• Verifies recipient name and location are correct within the Pharmacy system(s) prior to processing and shipping
• Documents all communications and related changes as necessary in pharmacy computer system(s).
• Maintain required scheduling data to assure routine deliveries for patients and nurses.
• Executes data entry functions related to refilling prescriptions in pharmacy computer system including scanning, printing labels, compounding records, and delivery tickets.
• Checks received prescriptions for accuracy prior to submitting to pharmacist for final check.

The ideal candidate will have:

• High school diploma required.
• Prior experience as a customer service representative or equivalent, ideally in a healthcare/pharmacy setting.
• Computer literate with an above-average typing speed.
• Proficiency with pharmacy computer systems and related software.
