Penn Vet was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, and has since grown to open branches in Michigan, Florida, and North Carolina.

ABOUT THE POSITION

Shipping associates are material handlers responsible for picking, packing, and scanning orders in a busy warehouse setting. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. 
 One (1) part-time position is available in our Jacksonville branch: Candidates must be able to work Monday thru Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Responsibilities 

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
• Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Keep a clean and safe working environment
• Process orders with 100% accuracy
• Report any discrepancies
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 lbs.
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read and understand documents from safety rules to packing lists to customer orders
• Ability to accomplish simple math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Proficient with computer applications.
