Pennant Solutions Group is in search of a seasoned Senior Software Developer (Infrastructure) to join our dynamic team dedicated to crafting cutting-edge signals intelligence (SIGINT) and electronic warfare systems for the Department of Defense. Your proficiency with Linux as a real-time operating system, bash shell, and scripting in languages such as Python will serve as essential assets in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Collaborate with the engineering team to devise and implement an IaC approach for automating the configuration of hardware and software systems.
• Partner with multiple teams to seamlessly integrate and deploy containerized services into Kubernetes.
• Work closely with developer and integration teams to ensure smooth deployments.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or in a related role.
• Proficiency in DevOps principles and methodologies.
• Experience with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• 3 years of experience with IaC tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• 3 years of experience with Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Top Secret Clearance
• Ability to obtain TS/SCI Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Kubernetes deployed on bare-metal servers in a multi-node cluster.
• Familiarity with Helm.
• Proficiency in utilizing IaC in combined Linux and Windows environments.
• Knowledge of Rook and/or Ceph, MetalLB, Artifactory, PXE Boot, Hashicorp Vault, ActiveMQ, NGINX and/or HAProxy, FreeIPA, Active Directory.
• Experience in hardening OS and containers to DoD cybersecurity standards.
