Penn State Health is Hiring a Sonographer Near Reading, PA

*Position eligible for night shift differential*

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

This job is responsible for performing OB/GYN, General and small parts ultrasound examinations at a technical level in accordance with department protocols and applicable regulatory requirements. An incumbent assumes responsibility for the safe, efficient and proper operation of ultrasound equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Recent completion of a twelve (12) month internship in diagnostic ultrasound or equivalent recent directly related work experience.
  • Must be registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (A.R.D.M.S.) or be registry eligible.
  • BLS
