We seek candidates with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) (OB or AB and RVT) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) RT(S) and RT(VS) certification for the role of Ultrasound Sonographer. The person in this role will work an 11:30 am - 8 pm shift and perform Ultrasound procedures according to established protocol to obtain diagnostic information as ordered by a licensed physician or their designated health care provider. She/he will provide information to the patient about the purpose of the ultrasound procedure and respond to the patient's questions and concerns. She/he will recognize the patient's individuality and provide quality care in a non-judgmental and non-discriminatory manner using professional and ethical judgment. She/he will maintain continued competence through lifelong learning, which includes continuing education, acquisition of specialty specific credentials, and re-credentialing.
Candidates must have current BLS Certification. Must certification as an American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) (OB or AB and RVT) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) RT(S) and RT(VS). If hired as a new graduate, must achieve Vascular Certification within 24 months of graduation.
