RN Registered Nurse – Critical Care Unit (ICU/IMCU) Penn State Health St. Joseph (Reading, PA)

JOB SUMMARY: The RN Registered Nurse incorporates knowledge of the nursing process and the professional standards of nursing in daily practice. Applies knowledge of growth and development to perform detailed assignments/interventions. The RN Registered Nurse provides consistent care based on the changing physical and psychosocial needs, unique to the patient.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required

Six (6) months RN experience required

Active RN license in the state

Basic Life Support required

ACLS required on telemetry units within 12 months of hire

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Six months Critical Care RN experience preferred.
