Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is Hiring a Human Resources Project Manager (40 hours/week) Near Lancaster, PA

Summary Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: The HR Project Manager leads and manages the delivery of key HR projects and presentations within Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health (PMLGH). This includes the planning, executing and monitoring of HR projects during the entire life cycle ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and on budget. This position is also responsible for the standardization of HR data presentations for the organization.
HOURS: 40 hours/week during normal business hoursESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:
  • Develops and manages project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders to develop detailed project plans, timelines and budgets.
  • Monitors and reports high-level project process and performance, identifying any major barriers, resolving issues and risks. Ensure project deliverables meet organizational standards and stakeholder expectations.
  • Provides oversight and direction for projects. Leads, guides, assists and coordinates support services to the project.
  • Communicates project status and progress to stakeholders and senior leadership as appropriate.
  • Develops and maintain project documentation, including project charters, timelines, and reporting.
  • Conducts post-project reviews to assess success and areas of opportunity for improvement.
  • Collect, analyze and format human resources data for multiple stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Maintains and updates regular monthly HR data and PowerPoint presentations for various operational areas and executive leaders.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS: The following duties are considered secondary to the primary duties listed above:
  • Ability to assist with other special projects within the organization as needed
  • Represents PMLGH in internal and external meetings
  • Other duties as assigned.
Job RequirementsMINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management in a large organization.
  • Strong project management skills, including project planning, execution and monitoring.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Fluency in Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Human Resources project management.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Experience with Workday.
