For more than 75 years, the Peninsula Jewish Community Center (PJCC) has worked to inspire a sense of community in San Mateo County, which is home to over 37,000 Jewish residents. Located between San Francisco and Palo Alto, the PJCC is among the top 10 JCCs in North America. Occupying a 12-acre site in Foster City, our aim is to offer programs and services that adhere to the values and traditions the Jewish community holds dear, while also catering to the wider community
Overview of the Role:
The Digital Marketing Associate is a dynamic, temporary role designed to bolster our marketing efforts during the bustling summer season. You'll be the Swiss Army knife of digital content, adept at juggling various forms of media, with a sprinkle of creativity and a dash of strategic magic. Your mission? To craft compelling content that enhances our digital footprint and keeps our community engaged and informed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Social Media Mastery: Create and schedule engaging content across platforms. Think Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and more. You're the voice of our brand, so keep it lively!
- Blogging Brilliance: Develop and maintain our blog with regular posts that inform, entertain, and engage our audience. Your words will weave the fabric of our online presence.
- Copywriting Craftsmanship: Produce crisp, clear, and captivating copy for a variety of purposes, from promotional emails to campaign ads.
- Digital Advertising Dynamo: Build and monitor digital ads that not only catch the eye but also capture clicks. ROI is your new best friend.
- Website Wizardry: Update and enhance our website content. It's about making sure our digital doorstep is as welcoming and as polished as our physical one.
Status: Part-time, Temporary (Non-benefitted, 25 hours/week, May - August)
Qualifications
Qualifications & Skills:
- Technical Chops: Proficiency with social media platforms, digital creation tools, and Google/Microsoft platforms.
- Creativity & Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Your narrative flair should be matched only by your meticulous attention to detail.
