This is a 1st Shift role, the work schedule is: Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm Pacific Time SUMMARYThe Assembler uses a variety of hand tools, fixtures, and work instruction to accurately assemble, inspect and pack small, medium, and large injection molded protective cases. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAssembles parts according to verbal and SOP work instructions and documents required information.Performs visual and in-process inspections of parts during the manufacturing process to ensure quality requirements are met; able to determine acceptable and unacceptable parts. Packs completed product into boxes with customized labels to ensure identification and traceability to customer requirements. Performs re-inspection, re-work, sorting and cleaning of plastic parts, as requestedRotates through different tasks on the assembly line.Operates auxiliary equipment such as drilling fixtures and pin installation fixtures.Keeps work area clean and organized.Returns all equipment to storage designated area upon work completion.May assist in the training of new Operators.Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement.
