Job Description

The School Nurse will create and manage the school’s health office to ensure optimum health and safety of students by providing immediate medical care and information to maximize health and wellness in the school community. In addition, this role will provide wellness support through individual education and resource development for students, employees and parents. The School Nurse will work with the school Medical Director and collaborate with other Nurses within the district to maintain Quality Assurance.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse in New York State
CPR/First Aid/AED Certified
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, administration, and external agencies to maximize performance, problem solving and achieve results. Willingness to learn and adapt to an early childhood program.
