We are seeking a router/dispatcher for our high-volume distribution warehouse. The perfect candidate is one who is able to plan and coordinate routes, book loads, take calls from drivers and customers. One who will answer emails in a timely manner, meet goals set by management, assist drivers with issues that may arise and excel under pressure while working independently.

Hours: 11 am till 8/9 pm.

Duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Work with Fleet Manager keeping track of the mileage on the trucks
• Plan and coordinate routes to prepare Night crew for picking
• Dispatch multiple drivers in a timely manner
• Track drivers during assignments and keep customers informed of driver routes and of any delays.
• Check driver-ins when they come back
• Track Route Manifests, making sure the right product came back with the paperwork
• Take incoming calls from customers and drivers
• Communicate with customers or Fleet Manager to address questions, and issues.
• Multi-tasking and organizational skills

Qualifications:

• Customer Service Experience
• Ability to interact with courtesy, sympathy, understanding, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
• Possess strong ethics; treats people with respect, keeps commitments, inspires trust in others, works with integrity and upholds organizational values
• Strong work ethic with a professional, positive attitude
