Peak Partners has a regional high growth insurance advisory client who is seeking a Surety Client Manager. This is a hybrid position located in Baltimore County, MD.

Responsibilities (not complete):

• Daily surety account management responsibilities including taking bond requests, communicating with client and market to obtain approvals, assembling information needed, and obtaining approval and issuing and executing bonds or renewals.
• Responsible for bond execution and resulting billing, accounting, and collections.
• Manages the client service cycle and monitors timeframes of stewardship plan and renewal deadlines.
• Keeps informed of all new sales and surety market programs.
• Attends company-sponsored seminars and educational activities necessary to maintain product knowledge and underwriting expertise.
• Maintains client electronic files & uses EPIC & Tinubu systems to perform all transactions.
• Ensures legislative, regulatory, and technical developments are appropriately communicated to clients.
• Complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Understands and guide clients through the initial surety UW process & submission to the marketplace.
• Regularly ensures that all bonds are closed, updated, and filed on a timely basis.

Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Risk Management, or another related field preferred.
• 3 – 5 years of experience, with a high level of dependability managing large accounts.
• Property and Casualty license required for execution of bond and power of attorney.
• Experience with Epic and Tinubu strongly preferred.
• Ability to accurately perform advanced mathematical calculations.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge and skills of Microsoft office suite such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Driving is a requirement for this position.
• Notary Public is desirable.

Pay: $57,624.10 - $69,396.77 per year
