Job Summary for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Peak Autism Services provides in-home applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy services to individuals (primarily children) diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). In other words, we get to work and play with amazing kids, and teach them skills that will change their lives! Our clinical services are firmly rooted in the principles and procedures of ABA, and we provide fully individualized and evidence-based services to each of our clients.

-We are currently looking for ONE outgoing, friendly, and fun RBT to join our small, supportive clinical team!

-Full-time (30 ) or part-time hours available!

Responsibilities and Duties for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

  • Conduct 1:1 ABA therapy sessions with individuals diagnosed with ASD
  • Directly implement behavior acquisition and reduction goals from each client’s individualized treatment plan, as written and demonstrated by Clinical Supervisors (BCBA)
  • Receive frequent and on-going supervision and feedback from Clinical Supervisors in order to maintain and improve your clinical skills

Qualifications and Skills for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

  • Most important: Kind, patient, outgoing and fun with children!!
  • RBT or BCaBA certified
  • Willing to learn and accept constructive feedback in a professional way
  • Willing to implement feedback and try new things
  • Willing to ask questions and voice your opinions in a professional way
  • Able to work each weekday (Mon-Fri) during after-school hours (e.g., 3-7pm)
  • Willing to work SOME (not all) Saturdays (e.g., 9am-12pm), particularly during the school-year
  • Reliable, trustworthy, detail-oriented, great communicator
  • Lots of experience is great, but not required! We strongly believe that finding the RIGHT person is more important!
  • ****If you're not RBT certified, or you're looking for your first experience in ABA, feel free to include a "cover letter" with your application to let us know why we should give you a shot! (You'd be surprised how a little extra effort can help you stand out!)
