About the Job
We are NOW HIRING and a Will Call Desk Associate in the area of Carrollton, TX!
Pay rate (Hourly): $18/hr. paid weekly, direct deposit.
Work Schedule: 8:30am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday, with occasional OT.
Job Requirements:
- Pass 5 panel drug test.
- Pass criminal background check; 7 years back no felonies. (misdemeanors case by case)
- Steel toe boots recommended.
Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Will Call Desk Clerk is the overall quality and accuracy of greeting and helping walk in customers. This position is responsible for monitoring activities of Will Call, ensuring accurate and timely receiving of all returned merchandise, making sure all merchandise is inspected for any damage or discrepancies and appropriately resolved.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Will Call Desk associate enthusiastically greets all customers as they enter the building.
- When salespeople enter orders, pick tickets are printed to the Will Call desk printer.
- Orders are placed on the clip board. Orders are not pulled until customer arrives.
- Will call desk employee will radio assigned warehouse staff for order fulfillment when the customer arrives for pickup.
- Once part is picked, it is placed in proper loading area.
- Parts are verified pulled correctly by comparing pick ticket to part number on box then parts are checked in datascope. Order is finalized and paid in Syspro if terms are Credit Card or Net account. Will Call clerk stamps the invoice PAID and Received Merchandise if Credit Card and Received Merchandise if Net account.
- If terms are COD or CASH and not paying with a Credit Card, customer then is directed to the cashier’s window for completion of order. Depending on the product purchased, customer may carry out or request help in loading.
- The invoice must be stamped PAID before merchandise is loaded in customer’s vehicle.
- If orders are not picked up, the Will Call desk associate calls the salesperson assigned to the order to find out if the order should stay open or if it should be canceled. (The orders on the clipboard should be reviewed weekly on Friday.)
- Will Call area must be kept organized and clean.
- Will Call Associate will also assist customers with returns and must follow all return and inspection policies. Returns will only be placed in return area.
