Tests and inspects products at various stages of production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products. Competently able to inspect at one assigned production department.

SHIFT:

• 1st shift Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Includes the following, but other duties may be assigned as company’s needs dictate.

• Interprets discrete job routine sheet, artwork, and specifications and confers wth management or other staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
• Works with production personnel to ensure cleanliness/sanitation of production equipment prior to production startup.
• Selects products for tests as specified stages in production process, and tests products for variety of qualities such as moisture, pH, organoleptic attributes, etc.
• Records test data, applying statistical quality control procedures.
• Evaluates data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.
• Crossed trained in other departments.
• Sets up and performs destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance.
• Oversees Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and reports any infractions to the appropriate Supervisor/Manager.
• Essential duties are performed with regular oversight of work by Lead Person, Q.C.
• Supervisor, Assistant Q.C. Manager, or Q.C. Manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
