About the Role:

The Lead Business Analyst - Commercial is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of software solutions that meet the commercial needs and objectives of PCS Wireless. The role involves collaborating with commercial program owners, account owners, and other leaders, managing the software development lifecycle, championing the adoption and optimization of commercially oriented applications, establishing best practices for commercial applications and solutions management, and managing resources and timelines. This role will fill a gap in the organization to unify the approach to improving and integrating software solutions for the company’s commercial needs. These efforts are either fragmented, or engineering-led today as a result of this role being unfilled. 

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with commercial program owners, account owners, and other leaders within the commercial teams at PCS to identify business needs tied to commercial program and projects, translating these into software solution requirements. 
  • Oversee the software development lifecycle for developing and implementing commercial technology solutions, ensuring alignment with stakeholder needs. 
  • Champion the adoption and optimization of commercially oriented applications within the company, advocating for user needs, emerging innovations that are beneficial to the business, and changes that improve ROI to the company.
  • Specific application types include, but are not limited to:
    • EDI Integration Partners.
    • Partner-specific Integrations. 
    • Sales and Purchasing APIs.
    • White-label Websites.
    • In-house Purchasing Applications. 
    • In-house Sales Applications.
    • ERP Functions dedicated primarily to Commercial Programs.
    • Marketing Campaign Management Etc. 
  • Establish best practices for commercial applications and solutions management, focusing on system lifecycle, security, and compliance to industry standards. Collaborate across the technology organization to ensure these practices are followed for PCS’s commercial applications. 
  • Manage resources and project timelines specifically for commercial solution projects.
