Our client is seeking a full-time Family Law Paralegal for our expanding family division. Our mission is to provide the best representation for our clients while providing a supportive, collaborative work environment for our staff.
Family Law Paralegal Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our team and support our family law department. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and have 1-3 years of experience in a similar role. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest level of service to our clients and contributing to the success of our legal practice.
- Legal Support: Assist attorneys in all phases of case preparation, from client intake to trial.
- Document Management: Draft legal documents, maintain case files, and ensure all paperwork is accurate and up to date.
- Research: Conduct legal research, gather evidence, and prepare supporting materials for cases.
- Client Communication: Maintain effective communication with clients, keeping them informed about case progress and requirements.
- Court Filings: Prepare and file legal documents with courts, as well as track court dates and deadlines.
- Scheduling: Manage attorney schedules, client appointments, and court appearances.
Family Law Paralegal Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience as a paralegal.
- Knowledge of family law and procedures.
- Proficiency in legal research and document management.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Paralegal certification or degree is a plus.
