To assist the banquet set-up team in the complete set of the posted events according to Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s). To oversee the production crew and assist with sets as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Provide Banquet staff with equipment needs and service support. Special requirements on special equipment to be advised by Banquet Maitre d’.
2. Organize equipment according to BEO and Captains requirements.
3. Maintain service aisles and service aisles equipment in a clean and organized manner.
4. Make coffee and pour into coffee pots.
5. Maintain, clean, and polish all silver and steel chafing equipment, trays and candelabrum and store in plastic bags.
6. Advise management of any needed repairs or replacement.
7. Maintain par stock levels of essential inventory.
8. Support Banquet Waiter staff in providing guest with food and beverage in a timely manner and at appropriate temperatures.
9. Assist in keeping inventory records and in the actual count.
10. Maintain and store all uniforms according to size and color.
11. Accept soiled uniforms and issue clean uniforms and keep them in good repair.
12. Keep records of uniforms in service and actually available for issue.
13. Maintain a clean and orderly storeroom at all times.
