Responsible for the accuracy of financial data through Adaptive and partnering with the accounting team, collaborating with departments, and helping management with monthly/quarterly/annual reporting. The right candidate collaborates well among all levels of leadership, demonstrating effective communication and presentation skills. Frequent communication with Corporate Department Heads on annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analyses. Responsibilities:• Consolidation of reports and provide trends to corporate for corporate reports• Support company planning processes for all corporate short and long-term forecasts for all financial statements, primarily for the Income Statement• Forecast, analyze, and provide proactive business insights into corporate items including subscription revenue, billings, and collections• Collaborate across the organization to drive process and systematic improvements• Partner with accounting and other departments to ensure that expenses are recorded accurately• Leverage and improve current systems to increase the productivity and accuracy of the entire FP&A team• Scenario analysis for company-level financials• Contribute to the creation of a detailed operating plan and long-term corporate financial model; track ongoing changes to the business in the rolling forecast• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting - analyzing financial results, understanding key trends, assessing current and future business risk, and communicating/presenting key messages to senior management• Provide practical and consultative financial guidance to drive business decision-making, and perform return on investment analysis to assist decision making• Support executive team on annual operating plan, quarterly/monthly forecasting• Ad-hoc analysis as required Requirements:• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics• 3-5 years of progressive experience in FP&A roles• Experience with Financial and Reporting systems such as NetSuite and Adaptive preferred• Excellent financial modeling and analysis skills• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills are required• Manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of precision• Insurance experience preferred but not required• Open and clear communicator• Solution driven and motivated by continual improvement
