Position Description

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for the maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the accounting department. This position will actively coordinate will development, construction, property management, and other departments to provide accounting and financial support.

Responsibilities

The Accounting Clerk serves a critical role on the Overland Group team. He or she will be responsible for the following:

• Manage the monthly reconciliation of 20 corporate and property bank accounts
• Perform monthly reconciliation of corporate and property credit card
• Efficiently maintain the accounts payable process and all corresponding reports/schedules
• Be the accounting contact for vendor
• Input journal entries
• Other ad hoc reporting or general accounting items as needed

Qualifications

• Extremely high level of initiative
• Proactive mindset with the ability to solve problems
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• 1 year(s) of accounting experience highly preferred
• 1 year(s) of QuickBooks experience highly preferred
• High school diploma required
• Ability to adapt with company to learn/develop new processes and systems
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently, with little direction

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
