PCA is Hiring a Customer Service Representative - Manufacturing Near Brookfield, WI

Position Summary:

The Customer Service Representative receives orders and requirements from customers, processes that information and generates sales orders to meet the customer’s requirements. The Customer Service Representative is Responsible for meeting the daily & weekly needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receives information via e-mail, phone, stack tool, or customer portal (website) from customers and accurately translates that information into sales orders and production work orders.
  • Confirms receipt of all orders and releases to customers in a timely manner consistent with the method of ordering.
  • Compares the critical customer/production information including, but not limited to revision level, price, product descriptions and special requirements from orders and releases received from customers with information in PCA/GEP Power Products manufacturing system as detailed in ISO procedures.
  • Performs double-check of data before and after entry into PCA/GEP Power Products ERP system.
  • Effectively communicates customer requirements, concerns and needs to all departments within PCA/GEP Power Products to ensure that the customer’s needs are met.
  • Provides proper follow-up with customer and/or PCA/GEP Power Products personnel when necessary.
  • Effectively prioritizes workload to meet customer’s needs and requirements and internal PCA/GEP Power Products requirements.
  • Refers difficult situations and questions to Customer Service Manager and/or appropriate Sales Representative.
  • Assists Sales personnel in customer maintenance as necessary.
  • Processes Engineering Change Orders (ECO) or Engineering New Part Process in a timely manner.
  • Display overall knowledge of customer’s needs and maintains Customer Order Processing instructions and documentation on all customers on the company server.
  • Works with various departments to reduce excess inventory.
  • Uses proper phone and e-mail etiquette.
  • Provides support to others in Customer Service Department as needed.
  • Follows the PCA/GEP Power Products ISO procedures.
  • Attend MRB, Production, Staff, and Kaizen meetings as requested by Customer Service Manager.
  • Perform other duties as requested by Management.
