Job descriptionCorporate Payroll Services is actively seeking aStaff Accountantto join our team! Our ideal candidate will be self sufficient and detail oriented. In this position you will be responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivables, customer retirement plans, and fiduciary funds.
Job Description
- Collaborate with teammates to manage and reconcile account balances
- Deliver analysis and statistical reports to management
- Assist management and teammates with process improvement initiatives
- Assists accounting team with general ledger, journal entries, and fixed assets
- Assists HR and Operations teams with Inventory
- Play a key role in delivering best in class services and reporting to clients
- Assist management with research of state regulations and apply for needed licenses
- Assist with customer data transmission duties
**Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher
- At least 1 year of experience in Accounting or Finance
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Applications
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work individually and in a team environment to meet firm deadlines
- Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities
- Ability to learn system functionality quickly
- Willingness to learn and overcome daily challenges
