The role will be focused on teams within ME and will build a culture of data-driven decision-making to the teams. Meet our team: This role will facilitate the operation of merchant engineering team, which is developing PayPal merchant end-to-end payment solutions and expanded services. Your way to impact

This role will play a key role in this mission. You'll directly report to the VP of Merchant Engineering and lead a diverse set of priorities to ensure effective engineering management and team alignment. You'll also collaborate with cross-functional teams to define priorities, execute strategies, and measure results.

Your day to day

• Develop messaging, ranging from internal communications to presentations
• Partner with cross-functional organizations such as PMO, Finance, HR, Talent Management, to align with company’s strategic direction and priorities. Includes budget enablement through partnership with Finance
• Align workforce allocation according to strategic priorities and executed within Workforce Planning
• Facilitate operating cadences such as staff meetings, operational reviews, leadership offsites, AMAs as required

What do you need to bring

Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology industry
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in planning, business operations or project management

Skills

• High delivery focus with an emphasis on task ownership and completion
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proven ability to work effectively with all organization levels
• Positive, service-focused attitude

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering or related field is required
