Job Description Summary:PayPal currently seeks a hard-working and motivated Partner Sales and Onboarding Specialist to join the Sales and Onboarding Specialist team. The online and offline merchant solutions we offer help empower small and medium businesses with the means to accept an increasingly wide range of payments from their customers. We are looking for a candidate with a history of top performance in a high-volume consultative role. The ideal candidate is capable of having high-level conversations with partners involving integrations on their respective platforms that allow their merchants to accept payments using one or more of PayPal’s suite of products. These conversations may include high-level strategy around adopting new products, technical assistance for integration, negotiations regarding pricing, and strategy around marketing the product offerings to their merchants. This candidate must be able to identify and solve problems, effectively collaborate cross-functionally, and illustrate the value of offering PayPal’s products to partners.

Responsibilities:
  • Be an expert in the suite of merchant solutions PayPal offers, and be able to identify which solutions solve the partner’s needs
  • Educate partners on the functionality, benefits, and value of PayPal products
  • Identify and recommend additional products to help the partner maximize PayPal’s value
  • Execute multiple projects simultaneously
  • Supporting partners through the process of implementing PayPal products on their platforms by engaging cross-functional teams needed complete the project
  • Identify the proper internal contacts needed by building a network of cross-functional relationships
  • Consistently follow-up until project is completed
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to close the deal while maintaining a high-level of partner satisfaction
  • Meet and exceed established productivity goals
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2 years experience in B2B role that interacted directly with clients
  • Superb interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and trust quickly over various communication channels
  • Top notch listening and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Highly resourceful team member with the ability to be extremely effective both independently and as part of a sales team
  • A world-class communicator who can articulate complex ideas in concise and clear language
  • Ability to keep multiple projects on track that involve complex solutions and various stakeholders
  • Comfortable networking to allow for seamless execution of projects with many moving parts
  • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving in order to complete projects
  • Must be highly organized, easily adaptable, and thrive on developmental feedback
  • Highly competitive with a fire burning inside
