PayJunction is Hiring a Remote Marketing Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Marketing Operations Manager to own the Marketing Operations function of PayJunction’s growing Revenue Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and optimizing processes, technology, and data management to drive the success of our marketing initiatives as they tie to our overall revenue goals. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Revenue Operations, the Marketing Operations Manager will play a crucial role in shaping our marketing strategy and ensuring its seamless execution.

Location

PayJunction takes a Flex First approach to work environments. This means that our team members can choose to work from our Santa Barbara office or remotely from home. The Revenue Operations' team’s mission is to drive alignment and performance across each revenue department to increase overall revenue growth. RevOps is the strategic convergence of sales, marketing, and customer success.

Responsibilities

  • HubSpot Administration:
    • Be the primary administrator of PayJunction’s marketing automation platform, ensuring that it is properly configured and integrated with other revenue technology.
  • Marketing Funnel Reporting:
    • Own the reporting for all KPIs in the marketing funnel, monitoring conversion rates, volumes, and velocity.
    • Develop and maintain reporting aligning marketing efforts with channel spend.
    • Lead regular funnel review meetings with the team and key stakeholders, highlighting conversion trends across all marketing channels.
  • Marketing Campaign Infrastructure and Tracking:
    • Set up infrastructure and build campaigns across channels and efforts.
    • Create tracking systems and reports for campaign performance.
  • Marketing Technology Stack Management:
    • Identify, configure, and maintain tools in the marketing stack.
    • Conduct bi-annual audits to optimize the marketing technology stack.
    • Troubleshoot issues and manage vendor relationships.
  • Data Management:
    • Clean, enrich, and manage marketing and sales data.
    • Curate lists for targeting and suppression in campaigns.
    • Own the lead scoring model.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Collaborate on cross-department processes.
    • Scope projects for operational needs and improvements.
    • Maintain naming conventions and document processes.
  • Marketing Department Reporting:
    • Refine department KPIs and maintain reports and dashboards.
    • Manage a scorecard tying marketing spend to new bookings.
    • Hold a consistent reporting cadence and surface performance insights.
    • Create ad hoc reports as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years in marketing operations; recent focus required.
  • 3 years administering marketing automation platforms; certification preferred.
  • 3 years working with Salesforce in conjunction with marketing automation platforms.
  • 3 years of SaaS marketing funnel metric performance tracking; B2B experience a plus.
  • Direct experience improving processes for marketing to sales handoff.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with BDR/SDR teams and Channel Sales teams preferred.
  • Proficient in Salesforce for lead tracking, campaign management, and reporting.
  • Expertise in HubSpot or similar marketing automation tools, including admin responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Outreach or similar sales execution tools for prospect routing and data analysis.
  • Familiarity with LeanData and past experience in configuration for streamlined handoff. LeanData certification is a plus. 
  • Excel/Google Sheets expertise for data analysis and visualization.
  • Proficiency in ZoomInfo or similar database tools for list building and data enrichment.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics for account configuration, report creation, and data analysis.

The base salary range for this role is $105-135k/year plus benefits. Actual base salary offered will vary depending on factors including but not limited to: location, education, experience, skills and qualifications.
