Paul Kooima Farmers Insurance is Hiring an Insurance sales representative Near Wyoming, MI

The Agency Producers role is critical to the stability and on-going growth of the Agency. The Agency Producer is responsible for being the source of most of the Agencys New Business sales.

The Agency Producer must be fearless when it comes to picking up the phone to contact a prospect; well-informed and professional in their verbal and written communications;

and above all, possess an energetic and optimistic attitude that refuses to allow a prospect purchasing somewhere else to slow them down or keep them from contacting, presenting, and closing the next prospect.

Responsibilities

  • Generating quotes and sales proposals, presenting the sales opportunity to the prospective customer, and successfully closing the presented sale.
  • Consistent and persistent follow-up on sales leads and submitted proposals.
  • Prospecting for New Business done in a variety of ways including contacting sales leads, referrals, networking, and marketing.
  • Development of New Business Referral Networks relationships with Mortgage Lenders / Brokers, Real Estate Agents, Title Companies, Auto & RV Sales / Finance Staff, customers, etc.
  • Community & Social Engagement involvement in community related activities and functions including volunteer opportunities & charitable organizations.

Requirement

Must have an Active Michigan Property & Casualty Producer License, or be willing to obtain a Michigan P&C Producer License prior to beginning employment.

The state mandated "Pre-Licensing Training" materials are provided by the Agency at no cost for any interested individuals who are not yet licensed.
