The Senior Product Manager will play an essential role in honing the vision and advancing the competitive differentiation of the Current product. A successful candidate will be equally adept at solving for C-level strategic marketing objectives and empathizing with the motivations and hectic schedules of typical social media creators. This is a full-time role and will work a hybrid schedule (typically four days a week in-office) based in Lehi, Utah. Frequently Asked Questions What is a day in the life of a Senior Product Manager? Steer enhancement and innovation for assigned product areas, creating a product roadmap with supporting user stories and requirements Collaborate with cross-functional teams to grasp business objectives and customer pain points, prioritizing product initiatives according to anticipated business impact Work closely with engineering leads to understand resource tradeoffs and technical feasibility of different product implementations Create, monitor and thoroughly groom product tickets to ensure clear direction and forward momentum for engineering teams Demo product solutions internally and externally to validate efficacy and feature completeness while spurring excitement for Current’s technical prowess Collaborate with Product Designers on user research and customer discovery, translating feedback into seamless and delightful user journeys Benchmark Current’s product solutions against competitors, identifying key gaps in functionality and opportunities for first-to-market innovations What will I need to thrive in this role? Bachelor’s degree or higher, with a strong preference toward technical majors (e.g. CS, IS, etc.) 4-7 years of experience as a technical product leader within a high-performing company Experience with enterprise SaaS, influencer marketing and/or marketing technology products strongly preferred Strong technical background - experience with any engineering languages or softwares a big plus Demonstrated ability to collaborate with designers and engineering teams to translate ideas into product output Exceptional written communication skills, especially the ability to document product needs within a clear set of requirements Experience presenting technical solutions to C-level executives and/or brand marketing leaders Strong understanding of user research methodologies and enterprise client expectations Ability to work flexibly across an global product and engineering org Entrepreneurial attitude and dogged problem solving style What does high performance look like? What is the team like? This is an individual contributor position that will work in close collaboration with a Senior Product Designer and one or more engineering teams within the Current Technology business. Collectively, the Senior Product Manager and their design and engineering collaborators will focus on a consistent set of product areas, so as to foster domain expertise, team camaraderie and advanced problem solving. This role reports to Current’s VP of Product and Strategy, and will partner closely with the VP to shape Current’s overall product vision and roadmap. Sounds great! What’s the company culture?
